ROLE SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
The Field Area Manager is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. In this role you will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for field coordination and field service project management for GE Oil & Gas site activities in areas of compressors, gas turbines, multi-stage pumps, steam turbines, turbo-expanders, and reciprocating compressors for Angola including but not limited to the following:
Management and ownership all field service activities for assigned projects including meeting all contractual requirements, scope of supply, quality, customer communication, visas / work permits, travel needs, scope execution, technical issue resolution, adjacent business / parts needs, and demobilization.
Translation of customer needs / requirements into project plans to meet Customer requirements.
Coordination for resolution of all NCM / CCM for assigned projects.
Ensure quality control – coordinate disposition of all non-conformances.
3rd party vendor coordination and POR issuance requests.
Estimation and management of project cost for CS project.
Follow up of final report, project invoicing documentation, and COD certificate issueing.
Input to company quality and standardization initiatives in order to improve project management and site activities execution processes
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 3 – 5+ years related work experience in Oil & Gas industry maintenance or installation field activities or similar years’ experience in project execution.
Professional Mechanical Engineer or equivalent mechanical technical experience.
Acquaintance with Control systems, Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Centrifugal Compressor and other rotating equipment.
Possess strong team leadership team building and facilitation skills.
Good knowledge of English language.
Strong analytic and problem solving skills
Communication and reporting capabilities.
Computer skills and MS Office proficiency.

HVAC SENIOR TECHNICIAN

Our client Oil & Gas, Energy, Mining & Utilities is a leading international Engineering Firm, which provides integrating solutions & technological services for oil & gas companies. The Firm is looking for an experienced HVAC Senior Technician for its offshore operations.

Job description
Qualified candidates will be responsible for the maintenance operations within his field of competence, and also monitors and ensure maintenance operations under his responsibilities are carried out in strict accordance with the Company’s current safety rules and operating procedures; also in accordance with standard industry practice, thereby guaranteeing the quality of maintenance operations within his field, carried out on site by the CONTRACTOR.
He will also be responsible for guarantying a good level of availability of the equipment he is responsible for on production sites.

Responsibilities
§  Organises and performs on site the maintenance operations which are placed under his responsibility,
§  With his teams assists specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC),
§  Ensures that the Company’s HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during performance of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility,
§  Ensures that all maintenance and repairs to plant and equipment are carried out in a safe and efficient manner and in strict compliance with COMPANY operating procedures and any relevant Statutory legislation in order to maintain all such equipment in sound and safe operating condition.
§  Manages interventions using the CMMS,
§  Enters intervention reports in the CMMS (including those concerning SMC) and writes the technical reports related to his field,
§  Monitors the functioning of systems placed under his responsibility,
§  Ensures that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs properly within his teams, and actively participates in this himself
Ensures that the members of his teams have the qualifications and skills required for the tasks entrusted to them and, if need be, suggests corrective measures

Qualifications and experience
§  A B.Sc degree (2:1) or (HND compulsorily with a Masters degree) in mechanical / Electrical  or Instrumentation Engineering
§  Similar experience in the maintenance field on oil & gas production installations outside the shores of Nigeria
§  Minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar role with an international organization
§  A basic knowledge of oil & gas treatment, installation & in depth knowledge of equipment used in the treatment and installation
§  SAP/R3 experience and know-how
§  Ability to lead and motivate multi-national teams,
§  Good organizational skills

 Job description
The representative assistant will be  responsible for assisting the contract site representative in all CMMS activities on site, ensure smooth short term planning process and is the focal point of training and nationalization on Site.
He or She reports to  the Contract Site Representative.

Responsibilities
§  Assist CSR as and when required

Job description
The Qualified Candidate will be in charge of maintenance operations within his field of competence,and also with a guaranty that a good level of availability of the equipment he is maintained for on production sites and play a predominant role in the transfer of skills to personnel undergoing training by on site mentoring.
He or she reports to the Mechanical Supervisor.
Responsibilities
§  Organizes on site the required maintenance operations which are placed under his responsibility: in particular for hydraulic systems Framo pump, cranes, HPU, tensioning system…
§  Support the planning team by giving any technical assistance for the preparation of the jobs in his discipline.
